saba is adjudicated the management of four car parks on the Portuguese Troy Peninsula
The car parks have a joint capacity of 852 places and the company will run them in rental regime for 3 years.

saba, the company that manages the car parking business of the abertis group, has been adjudicated - through Spel, its portuguese subsidiary - the management of four car parking centres which it will run in rental regime for 3-year, renewable period. The four car parks are part of an urban project promoted by Sonae Turismo in the Portuguese Troy Peninsula.
The four new car parks will hold 852 cars in all. They will all include the latest technological advances in matters of safety and risk prevention, in accordance with the company's quality and customer care policy.
With the openning of these four car parks, saba is currently running a total of 17,239 places in 24 car parks in Portugal, in cities such as Oporto, Lisbon, Leira, Viseu, Portimao and Matosinhos.
The Troy Peninsula, about 45 minutes from Lisbon, is a privileged setting, with the sea, a river and a varied natural landscape, in which will be an "Eco Resort", which will be a point of reference for international tourism. Desinged by Sonae Turismo, it includes hotels, tourist apartments and homes, as well as golf courses, football fields and tennis courts, a dock, a casino, business centres, restaurants and shopping centres.
With the aim of providing the area with public parking infrastructure required for the development of commercial activity, the four new saba car parks will contribute to improving the quality of the urban life of residents and visitors, and will offer them greater convenience when they are travelling around.
