Saba is awarded the contract for the management of the car parks of almeria and pamplona airports

The contracts to manage both centres, awarded by the Spanish airport authority, Aena, have a duration of three years, which may be extended for a further two years.
The Spanish airport authority, Aena, has awarded saba (the abertis Group's car park business unit) the contracts for the management of the car parks of Almeria and Pamplona airports. Both contracts have an initial duration of three years, which may be extended for a further two years. The car park of Almeria airport has 830 spaces (of which 680 are short-stay), whilst the Pamplona car park has 502 spaces. With the addition of the capacity offered by both centres, saba will now manage a total of 1,332 parking spaces.

saba already manages the car parks of Barcelona-El Prat, Girona and Reus airports, and has recently been awarded the contract for the management of the car park of Tenerife South airport. These new contracts mean that saba has consolidated its position as one of the leading operators in airport car park management in Spain.

The company currently has a total of 139,664 spaces distributed around 202 car parks in Spain, Italy, Chile, Portugal, France, Morocco and Andorra. The company is also developing new projects which will take the total size of the network up to 218 car parks and over 150,000 managed spaces.

saba is the car park subsidiary of the abertis Group, a European leader in infrastructure management, which also operates in the tollroad, telecommunications infrastructure, airport and logistics park sectors.
