Saba opens its Aragonia car park in Saragossa

The new car park, which will be managed by saba for 6 years, has almost 2,000 parking spaces on four, underground floors, and two entry and exit ramps for vehicles. Also, and for the greater convenience of its customers, the facility has direct access to the hotel, offices and shopping area.The parking area set aside for the hotel is on level P1 and has its own entry and exit ramps.

Based on an avant-garde design by the prestigious architect Rafael Moneo, Aragonia has a six-storey leisure and shopping centre; 16 cinemas, four properties with 132 flats; a five-star hotel with 183 rooms and a 15-storey office building.

saba's involvement in the Aragonia Project began with functional assessment during the planning and execution phases of the facilities, for which it carried out a detailed study. Saba also coordinated its subsequent implementation, taking care of aspects such as the size of the parking spaces, the entry and exit ramps, the functionality and accessibility of pedestrian areas, and other elements.

Similarly, getting the facility up and running means bringing in saba's advanced management knowledge, which has made the company a model, both in Spain and internationally, and which covers factors such as staff training, designing conservation systems and integrating a specific car park safety plan.This is the first car park to be managed by saba in Saragossa.

Currently, saba provides a total of 117,383 parking spaces distributed across 196 car parks in Spain, Italy, Chile, Portugal, France, Morocco and Andorra.In addition, the company is developing new projects which will increase the total size of the network to 215 parking centres and almost 140,000 managed spaces.
