Sales Coup for Cobalt

Ken Lythgoe, formerly Sales Director of Alphyra m-payments, has joined Cobalt. Ken has taken up the role of Sales Director and will be responsible for the future growth of the company's whole range of products, including RingGo, Cobalt's highly successful phone parking solution.
"Ken did a terrific job at Alphyra, including establishing mobile parking in several sites notably Glasgow. I have long admired Ken's championing of the phone parking cause, and now that he is batting with us I think he will contribute a great deal to the further expansion of the company," said Harry Clarke, Cobalt's Commercial Director. "Ken is widely known and well regarded in the industry, and we are certain that his insight, skills and experience will be very valuable as we come to develop the RingGo customer base, both here and abroad."

"RingGo is the brand that is clearly leading this market," said Ken Lythgoe. "I'm really looking forward to working with such a strong product and to helping to make life easier for motorists and local authority parking managers alike."

Ken joined Alphyra from CreditCall Communications where he was Sales Director for four years. In that time the company, which specialises in processing credit and debit card payments, grew from being a young start-up to the integration partner of choice for pay and display machine manufacturers across the industry. Notable wins included the incorporation of the company's technology into the congestion charging terminals manufactured by Metric.

Ken will be representing the company at the Cobalt stand at Traffex in mid April.
