Small, comfortable, uncomplicated – successful transfer to Scheidt & Bachmann entervo UHF-Tag

Numerous car park operators are already excited about the advantages of the Scheidt & Bachmann entervo UHF-Tags: comfortable and barrier-free use through contactless identification, a higher capacity on the entry and exit lanes at peak times as the customer no longer needs to be active, and by affixing the label to the windscreen there is a higher level of security as the tag cannot be passed on. Not to mention the low maintenance cost for this technology.

This advantage has also convinced APAG (Aachener Parkhaus GmbH) to decide upon the entervo UHF-Tag from Scheidt & Bachmann. APAG operates all urban car parks in Aachen. Their customers have been using a transponder, known as “the Nupsi”, since 2005. Within a few weeks, more than 7.000 registered short and long-term parkers, which had until now used battery-afflicted transponders, switched. On the windscreen of their vehicles is the entervo UHF-Tag, the “Nupsi 2.0”. The replacement was completed smoothly. The customers at the forefront were informed and a replacement-appointment agreed upon. As the personnel of the APAG were present at the attachment of the label, a test could also be conducted. This ensured that the customers could use the entervo UHF-Tag without any problems. For car models with steamy windscreens, a correct positioning of the entervo UHF-Tag is necessary.

The target audience for the medium entervo UHF-Tags is not only the typical long-term parker, but also the sporadic short-term parker. With successful marketing-campaigns and tariff discounts, new customers can be won. The registered short-term parker becomes the regular customer in the classical sense. Besides the use of flexible tariffs for long and short-term parkers, there is also the online-management of the registered users in the centre. With this, administrative costs, through online-payment and transaction evidence, can be reduced.
