Scheidt & Bachmann in Shopping Centre "Tempelhofer Hafen"

At the former Tempelhofer Hafen in Berlin, Germany, a new attractive shopping centre has been built. Located directly at the Teltowkanal, it is Berlins first shopping centre with landing stages. This makes an approach possible both by car and by boat. The architectonic combination between refurbished historical warehouses and new buildings has created a successful environment on the water side. 70 shops and restaurants invite you to strolling and staying, where you want. 30 boat moorings and a car park of 600 parking lots are available to the guests.

The car park management system for the cars has been supplied by Scheidt & Bachmann, based on the well-approved barcode system. Season parkers use a transponder card as entry and exit authorization. The parking fee can be paid via six automatic pay stations. In order to provide the guests a real contact person, also during their control inspection tours, there is a direct interface of parking technology and video functions to the control centre of the operator Verkehrswacht Parkplatz GmbH in Düsseldorf.
