Single space detection eParkSys

Bremicker Verkehrstechnik developed the single space detection system eParkSys in 2009 and now offers the optimum solution for an efficient car park utilisation.
 
eParkSys identifies the status of every single parking space and ensures the efficient use of the existing car park capacity. Ultrasonic sensors with innovative design are mounted above every space and measure if a car is parked underneath or not. LED lights in different colors signalize the status of the bay: green means free, red means occupied and blue signalizes a free handicapped parking space. In addition dynamic LED signs guide the car park user and offer an increased customer service. The system components are connected by network cables with simple plug connection. The sensors can easily be mounted on existing cable trays or cable ducts. An embedded car park computer controls and monitors the whole system.
 
The car park of the shopping centre Clemens Galerien in Solingen has 600 parking spaces and is one of the most frequented car parks in town. Short time ago the car park was equipped with the single space detection system of Bremicker Verkehrstechnik. Now every single parking space has an own ultrasonic sensor. In the lanes 6 LED signs direct the customer to the remaining spaces.

The embedded car park computer monitors the whole system. At the beginning of 2011 a web based software application will also be implemented. Then, the car park operator Vollmergruppe Dienstleistungen can supervise and control the system at the headquarters control room or at any computer with internet access.
