SKIDATA's PARCS Installed at the City Creek Center's Mixed-use Garages

For the mixed-use City Creek Center Project in the heart of Salt Lake City‚ SKIDATA’s Distributor‚ Protection Technologies‚ initiated Phase 1 of the project. They installed the first phase of the 4-year project using SKIDATA parking technology with TagMaster's AVI System. The 112-lane system at Blocks 75 - 76 uses 30 SKIDATA Entry / Exit Columns and 70 SKIDATA Gates with AVI Readers.

Damon Kessler‚ Regional Manager at Protection Technologies‚ noted that the initial City Creek Center installation is scheduled for completion in January 2010 and includes a wide variety of PARCS technologies:

Ali Khaksar‚ President of TagMaster-North America‚ mentioned how the Project uses LR-3 Readers with Watchman firmware that are fully compatible with SKIDATA systems. Over 3‚000 active tags will be used at City Creek Center entrances and exits at full occupancy.

In short‚ the City Creek Center’s parking system is an excellent example of how to integrate blended residential-commercial access and parking systems for a phased-in municipal project. Protection Technologies has done an exceptional job in handling the project to the customer’s satisfaction.
