Sofia plans more subterranean parking lots

The architect’s report that makes the proposal awaits approval by Sofia Council. The facilities will be in capital’s centre and will host hundreds of automobiles. The one under Alexander Battenberg Square may hold about 400 cars, that one under Vitosha Boulevard will host 500. The biggest one close to national palace of Culture is to host at least 1,000 cars.
Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov is willing to see ready at least two of the subterranean facilities by the end of 2007, officials reminded.
The complete plan for Sofia parking lots with about 20,000 places will be discussed next Monday.
