Sol Unveils New aiSUN, Next Generation in Solar Light Intelligence

Developing aiSUN for our customers further establishes Sol, Inc. as the go-to company for solar lighting, said Rick Schuett, CEO. With our increased efficiency and patent-pending dimming and control technology, aiSUN allows Sol, Inc. to configure solar light systems in the most cost-effective manner for nearly any location around the globe; allowing more customers to experience the benefits of off-grid solar lighting.

Sol, Inc.s internal engineering team developed aiSUNs proprietary electronics and software. The patent-pending product is the companys innovative combination of solar energy charge controller and high efficacy LED driver into one intelligent module. By combining two traditionally separated electronics modules, Sol Inc eliminates wiring, expensive components and simplifies installation and service of its light systems.

Applied in Sol Incs light systems for parking lots, pathways, trails, and roadways, aiSUN operates as the solar light CPU, efficiently converting solar energy into LED lighting. aiSUNs flexibility allows a customer to configure their lights to operate in many different modes. One mode uses an A.L.L.Night (Adjustable Light Level) algorithm, which allows customers to define a near-infinite combination of lighting levels and operating times to illuminate their facilities when desired and at any brightness level. In addition, aiSUN supports direct integration of wireless and hard-wired inputs from building management systems to create an outdoor light control network.
