Still Time to Submit Business Session Speaker Proposals

NPA is now accepting business session proposals for its 59th Annual Convention and Exposition, to be held Oct. 11-14, 2010, at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston, Mass.
NPA's annual conference offers the best opportunity to learn from the experts and your peers in the parking industry. The networking and learning opportunities are incomparable! With the success of our previous conferences, we are looking for cutting-edge, innovative session proposals featuring experienced presenters and/or panelists.

Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- overall quality
- well-defined focus
- timeliness and relevance of topic to NPA members and industry leaders
- background and experience of presenter

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 15, 2010. Proposals will be evaluated by the Convention Program Planning Committee, which meets Jan. 21-22. The following types of presentations are most desirable and have the best chance of being accepted:

- Fresh perspectives that shed light on emerging trends/issues, new ways of thinking and better ways of doing business in the parking industry.
- Advanced sessions that go beyond the surface and address particular issues/challenges, provide employable solutions and provide attendees with take-home tools.
- Experienced, credible presenters who can represent the perspectives of various members of a company.

To be considered, please respond to Denise Gable at
dgable@npapark.org with the following information:
- Primary speaker's contact information
- Name, title, company name, address, phone, fax, email
- Speaker's background (a brief narrative describing speaker's experiences and qualifications to present the submitted presentation topic)
- Title of presentation
- Presentation summary
- Presentation format (lecture, case study, and/or panel)
- How does your topic provide a fresh perspective, highlight emergingtrends/issues, or delve deeper into important issues?
- Has this (or a similar) presentation been done by you before? If yes, when and where (for what group or organization)?

Please note that NPA does not compensate speakers who are selected to be part of the business sessions or roundtable discussions, including hotel or travel expenses.

Anyone with questions on the submission or selection process should contact Denise Gable at dgable@npapark.org. We look forward to a great conference in October!
