Successful introduction of digital parking in the city of Helmond

Over 2.500 registered users within three weeks!

- Helmond, the Netherlands

IP Parking's digital parking concept "Stadsparkeren" (City Parking) enables its users to start and end a parking activity by using a cell phone of parking card.

The concept has been proven to be successful in many other cities in the Netherlands but in the case of Helmond the concept hes been heavily promoted by the city council with special discounts and a dedicated, custom made website. These marketing efforts have led to a boom in subscriptions in the first weeks. Within three weeks over 2.500 local residents registered making the introduction a big success.

It is expected that at the end of 2012 a total of 3.500 to 5.000 residents are registered. Soon it will also be possible to use the city parking concept at Elkerliek, Helmond's main hospital boosting the rate of registration even more.

About IP ParkingIP Parking Logo

We produce and install Parking Management Systems (PMS) of the very highest quality. We have stopped building the old-fashioned client-server software and switched completely to web-based technology. This modern and much more user-friendly communication technology has many advantages over traditional parking systems. As everything is managed from one server, your system can be accessed from any location, and if any problems arise we can take action directly in your system with remote support. The technology also creates many new options regarding the participation of neighbouring companies, for instance, and forging links in the broadest sense of the word. The application of the most up-to-date technology also means we have very little trouble with breakdowns.
