Frank Harder joins Swarco executive board
Effective January 2nd, 2012, Dipl.-Ing. Frank Harder joined SWARCO AG as Member of the Executive Board. Simultaneously he takes over the responsibility for the Projects, Sales & Services Division of REGION 3 (Americas), a function so far held simultaneously by Board President Manfred Swarovski.
Frank Harder studied Electrical Engineering at Düsseldorf University and has over 14 years of experience in high power LEDs and solid state lighting. Between 1996 and 2001 he held Sales Manager positions with German companies KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH and G.L.I. Global Light Industries GmbH. In 2001 he joined Philips Lumileds Europe in sales management and successfully grew the adoption of sustainable lighting technology in consumer electronics, automotive and illumination businesses. Lumileds is one of the major suppliers of LEDs for SWARCO FUTURIT signalling products.Mr. Harder works out of SWARCO TRAFFIC AMERICA's new office in the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California.
