ITS World Congress Comes To Vienna

From October 22 to 26 2012 Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) experts will meet in Austria's capital city Vienna under the motto "Smarter on the way". Thus the 19th ITS World Congress comes to SWARCO's home market with an expected 3000 participants.

It goes without saying that SWARCO supports this event significantly as sponsor, exhibitor and technology supplier. Our competence in traffic management and energy efficiency will not only be shown on stand D10 but also on the demo installation as part of a test field for telematics, where delegates get the opportunity to witness cooperative systems with communication between vehicle and infrastructure in a live environment.

With the help of the new Congress Navigator delegates will be able to create their own congress timetable, get route and public transport time table information and information about mobility in Vienna, take part in a quiz and give feedback to congress seminars. Besides 700 expert presentations, congress participants get the chance to experience an attractive accompanying programme and a ball night in Vienna's imperial palace.

Learn about the latest developments in how traffic can be managed with smart technology. We would be pleased to meet you on SWARCO's exhibition stand and on the Austria group stand nearby. More information can be found on the official congress website www.itsworldcongress.at. To get periodic updates per e-mail register the congress newsletter on www.its-austria.info.
