T2 Systems Announces Successful Pay Park & Go Parking Solution
T2 Systems and Standard Parking provide hosted revenue control solution enabling revenue generation at locations with no on-site parking staff.
T2 Systems Inc. is pleased to announce the deployment of a new Pay Park & Go parking solution, developed in partnership with Standard Parking. A parking industry-first, this revenue control application uses credit card pay-on-entry for unattended, access controlled parking areas. Standard Parkings objective behind the project was to develop a system that could convert historically free, unstaffed parking areas, such as those typically found in suburban retail malls, into revenue-generators through the sale of preferred parking privileges.
The result is an easy-to-deploy revenue control solution hosted by T2 Systems - that supports multiple locations with no on-site IT or cashier staff. The T2 application provides revenue control functionality and reporting through an online system that enables Standard Parking, from one central, remote command center, to monitor equipment and perform tasks at multiple locations. The Pay Park & Go solution is being used successfully at locations in Charlotte, NC and New Orleans, LA, with more planned in the near future.
The parking solution is built on T2 Flex, the industrys first unified parking management system. T2 Flex unifies in one single database the management of access and revenue controlled facilities with the management of event parking, permits and citations. The web-based solution allows parking facility owners and managers to access all information about their parking operations from any computer with Internet access.
Were very excited about the success of this project and our partnership with Standard Parking, said T2 President and CEO Mike Simmons. Weve been developing and preparing to launch our hosted revenue control solution, and with Standard Parkings history of supporting innovative, new technology, weve jointly developed this solution to meet the needs of their clients now and in the future.
Standard Parkings President and CEO, James A. Wilhelm, in commenting on the projects success, stated that Standard Parking has always looked for new, innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Were excited about Pay Park & Go, and look forward to working with T2 in the future on other projects that can benefit our parking clientele.
