T2 Systems announced today that more than 200 cities and universities have trusted T2 to host their parking data (T2 Flex) in the T2 Hosting Environment. In 2001, T2 Systems launched the first cloud-based parking technology solution and later launched T2 Flex™ in 2005, the first and only unified parking management platform in the industry.
“I'm thrilled that we've passed this major milestone. We have customers of all sizes and configurations using the full breadth of T2's solutions and getting the benefits associated with T2's PCI DSS Level I compliance in the Hosting Environment,” says Jim Hutchins, Chief Technology Officer at T2 Systems.
Each year since 2010, the Visa Global Registry of Service Providers has announced T2 Systems’ revalidation as a PCI DSS Level I service provider, the same data security assessment that is used to evaluate Amazon.comº and Chase Bank².
“By allowing T2 to host our parking data, we were able to take full advantage of economy of scale,” says Joseph Lalley, Senior Director of Facilities Operations at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. “We realized immediate and ongoing real dollar savings by not having to acquire additional hardware and software. My IT staff is able to focus on other projects and value added work.”
Grant Dawson, Manager of Information Technology at T2 Systems, will present Parking in the Cloud at the Parking Industry Expo in Chicago, IL on March 12th.
