T2 Systems to Expand headquarters

T2 Systems Inc., a leading international provider of unified parking management software, hardware and consulting services, announced that it will expand its headquarters in Indianapolis.
The T2 Systems is investing more than $1 million to upgrade its offices and equipment on the citys northwest side and has begun hiring additional customer service, information technology and business development professionals. This expansion will create more than 90 new jobs over the next seven years.

T2 is creating the kinds of high-tech jobs that contribute to our economic comeback, said Governor Mitch Daniels. Were glad to see this home-grown company continuing to invest in Indiana.

Founded in 1994 by Indiana native Michael Simmons, the company provides parking management solutions to nearly 300 organizations in the United States and Canada, including universities, cities, towns, private operators and airports. The companys solutions allow users to manage various aspects of parking, such as citations, permits, access control, financial transactions, vehicle towing, license plate look-ups, collections, space availability and utilization.

We are fortunate in that we have continued to see growth year after year. It is exciting to have an expanding role in the national parking industry and the Indianapolis business community. We're looking forward to adding new employees to share in this excitement," Simmons said.

Business expansion is an important component to any sustained economic development strategy, Mayor Bart Peterson said. Were excited to see T2, a global technology company that could have expanded anywhere in the world, choose to retain its existing workforce and create over 100 new, high-wage, high-tech jobs in our city. This announcement adds to Indianapolis winning reputation for business growth and job creation.
