Taking care of parking for football giantsand jets

Amano McGann and professional football have something in common: parking cars.
Since 1976, football fans driving to see a New York Giants or Jets game were greeted by congested, manual parking procedures.  The battle of the gridiron would commonly start hours before the game in the gridlock of the parking process.  Just getting into a parking space could exhaust the patience of any hardcore fan even more than his or her favorite team.  At the new Meadowlands facility however, these issues have been addressed with parking solutions from Amano McGann.
With the start of the 2010 NFL season Amano McGann will be right at the heart of game day revelry, putting an end to parking problems. The Amano McGann Event Parking System includes wireless handheld units to accommodate 45 lanes of incoming traffic, ensuring 80,000 fans get parked and in their seats before kickoff.

The Amano McGann parking solution provides a programmable hardware and software solution to accommodate over 60 cellular handhelds with credit card processing and Bluetooth printers, real-time count and monitoring, real-time space availability, online prepaid sales, ticket agency prepaid sales, as well as support for VIP parking, cash processing, multiple rates and multiple events, and much more.  Amano McGann helps manage, audit, and report on the usage of 21,600 parking spaces, with another 4,100 spaces to be added in the coming year.  With each event, park and pay criteria can be easily changed because the system is programmable, making it a flexible solution to accommodate a virtually unlimited number of event options and scenarios.

The parking operations will be handled by Central Parking Systems whose headquarters are located in Nashville, TN.  CPS will employ approximately 300 individuals at the Meadowlands site.

The Meadowlands also must provide for the parking needs of its everyday operations employees, players, vendors, and others integral to operating a major stadium complex.  Amano McGann is there for these needs as well. The Amano McGann Event Parking System is also used for all day-to-day operations, meaning there is no need for any gates, ticket dispensers, or other lane equipment at this location.

Amano McGanns partnership with professional sports also includes the New York Mets and a parking solution for their stadium, Citi Field, as well as new systems for the Seattle Seahawks.  The Amano McGann Wireless Event Parking System revolutionizes the parking process and gives the parking manager more control, flexibility, and accountability over their operations.
