Tele Atlas and SpotScout announce collaboration

August 21, 2006, Boston Tele Atlas, a leading global geographic content provider, and SpotScout, Inc., a mobile application software company creating a virtual, real-time mobile marketplace for buying and selling parking spaces, announced today that they plan to collaborate to deliver a parking availability solution based on Tele Atlas digital map data.
SpotScouts software solution is designed to help drivers find information about available parking spaces via a mobile information network. Combined with Tele Atlas highly accurate and up-to-date digital maps, subscribing mobile navigation system users will be able to quickly spotscout for and reserve a parking space that a spotscaster near them owns, leases or plans to vacate.
