The Danish county Svendborg Kommune switches to Cale terminals
Svendborg Kommune ordered their first ever parking terminals from a major Cale competitor. However, after two years in operation, the county decided to replace the terminals with Cale MP104 terminals, principally in order that the Councils terminals are able to accept payment with petrol card and real time payment. Real time payment enables motorists to pay only for the parking time used.
The terminals, which accept payment with coins and cards, are equipped with GPRS modem and will be connected to the Cale WebOffice service for transaction collection, statistics, alarms monitoring, etc. Switching to Cale as the supplier, via the Danish Cale distributor TTS A/S, will also ensure an improved supply of spare parts for optimum terminal operation at all times.
