The Peel Airports Group choose ts.com for all UK airports.

The Group will use the system to offer online pre-booking for its car parks at both Durham Tees Valley Airport and Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield. The service is already in use at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Since January 2002, when ticketingsolutions was first introduced at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the Group has seen a year on year 80% increase in pre-sales for its long-stay car park. As the system is fully integrated with the car park entrance and exit barriers, customer response has been particularly positive. The customer needs only to swipe his/her credit card at the barrier and the online booking is immediately recognised, conveniently eliminating the need for a ticket. The implementation of ticketingsolutions at Durham Tees Valley and the new Robin Hood airport will enable the Peel Airports Group to build upon this success and offer customers a faster and more cost-effective way of pre-booking their airport car parking.

Robin Hood Airport, which opened for its first commercial flight on 28 th April 2005, will offer online booking for its 2500 capacity car park via its website robinhoodairport.com . With the growing success of the airport, parking is increasingly in high demand. Customers will now have the convenience of their parking space being reserved for them, safe in the knowledge that they have pre-paid at a competitive online rate.

Durham Tees Valley Airport celebrated its 40th anniversary in April of last year and is currently undergoing considerable investment to develop its facilities including the construction of a new access road to the terminal and car park improvements. Online pre-booking will be possible through its website teessideairport.com, with the car park conveniently located directly in front of the terminal building.
