TimHaahs Awarded Miami Marlins Ballpark Parking Design

Finally, Miami-Dade County and City Commissioners put to rest more than a decade-long quest by voting in favor of a retractable-roof ballpark for the Marlins on the old Orange Bowl grounds. Since winning the World Series in 1997, three separate Marlins owners have sought a baseball-only facility. Now that will become a reality for the team and countless fans.

This favorable voting decision brought finality to a stadium agreement that was first approved in February 2008. TimHaahs will work with prime architect, Leo A. Days Miami office to provide full parking functional design and all structural engineering services for four parking structures totaling approximately 4,800 spaces, 60,000 square feet of retail space and 96 residential liner units.
