TimHaahs Awarded Red Rose Transit Authority, Reading Convention Center Projects

RRTA selected TimHaahs to plan and design a new mixed-use parking structure for the Queen Street Station. The project will add an additional three bus bays, 450 parking spaces, and leased space for the Lancaster Museum of Art. In addition, the structure will be designed with provisions to enable future potential development in the air rights for commercial or residential use.

In Reading, the Reading Parking Authority and Reading Hospitality LLC selected TimHaahs to provide prime design services for a new parking structure to serve the Reading Convention Center. The 800 space stand-alone parking structure will serve the convention center, as well as an adjacent hotel in center city Reading.

TimHaahs goal is to utilize parking to design and create People Places, where people gather in an active and inviting environment. These two notable projects provide the opportunity to create vibrant, active, urban spaces in traditional historic districts, while providing new infrastructure to foster future development.
