TimHaahs Breaks Ground on New Veteran Affairs Medical Center Parking Structure in Philadelphia, PA

On March 26, 2010 the Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) broke ground for their new parking structure being built adjacent to the existing hospital facility.

The VA is embarking on a major update of their campus to accommodate their patients and employees more effectively.

As a result of the significant increase in the number of patients and employees in recent years, parking at the downtown Philadelphia campus has become insufficient and inconvenient.

TimHaahs conducted a feasibility study to determine the most practical, economical and attractive solution for the addition of new parking. The study identified several alternative sites as potential garage options. TimHaahs and the VA worked together to determine the best alternative given the future plans and needs of the medical center. The fast-track project will be completed in July 2011.
