TimHaahs is working with DPR Construction on a new mixed-use project meant to expand the existing Downtown Disney development in Orlando. The project will transform Downtown Disney reimagined Disney Springs mixed-use development, including dining, retail, and entertainment destinations.
TimHaahs is designing the first of two planned garages. Phase 1 includes approximately 4,000 parking spaces.
Disney Springs will include more than 150 shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations; a significant increase from the 75 venues currently located in Downtown Disney. The additions will include:
- Town Center development – mix of shopping and dining establishments
- “The Landing” – colorful commercial dining district with a centerpiece waterfront
- Marketplace – redevelopment of existing retail areas, including the addition of an over-the-water- pedestrian pathway
- West Side – retaining many of the current Downtown Disney staples, while incorporating a new overlooking walkway to provide visitors with a better view of the Disney Springs development
