Top Trends Impacting the Parking Industry

Once thought of as the future of parking, green and sustainable parking solutions is now parking for today. Parking professionals agree the demand for green parking and sustainable parking solutions is one of the most impactful on the industry. In a recent International Parking Institute poll, 36% of parking professionals stated that going green is a top trend impacting the industry today. As everyone is talking about going Green, consumers seek out environmentally friendly businesses, and companies are trying to improve their image and have corporate social responsibility. Switching to an energy efficient lighting system by installing LED lights is one of the easiest ways for parking facilities to reduce energy consumption. LED lights use up to 80% less energy than other traditional lighting and are more sustainable.
