UA to hand out more speeding tickets in parking garages

The University of Arizona is about to start issuing more
speeding tickets in parking garages.
At a campus meeting last week, associate parking director Mark Napier said his staff has clocked drivers at silly speeds in the garages. He said he hopes citations will "alter driving behavior."

Napier said he's testing out one radar device right now and might buy a couple more.

The speed limit in campus garages is 15. From 16-19 mph, you'll probably luck out with just a warning, Napier said. But at 20+ mph, you're likely to get a ticket.
