University of Akron Offers Ticket Dismissal for Donation of Food to Charity.

Parking Services will dismiss one $10 parking citation per person in exchange for a donation to Harvest for Hunger, a regional fund and food drive in Northeast Ohio. The offer lasts through Dec. 19, and the parking office has a gift-wrapped box in its lobby for the food donations. "This is an opportunity to help both our students and the hungry during this holiday season," said the idea's creator, Bob Neylon.
