University of Arkansas receives Merit Award for Excellence

This is the second parking structure Walker Parking Consultants has designed for the University of Arkansas.  The 1,516 space 6-level cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete parking structure is built into the hillside with 2 levels partially below grade.  A bookstore shares the elevator core and retail shops are located on grade level fronting Garland Avenue, opposite of the northwest residence halls.  Walker Parking Consultants provided AFHJ Architects with Functional/PARCS/Wayfinding Design/Consulting & Structural Engineering.
