Vendors Announce Payment Terminal Deals

U.S.-based Hypercom says it has signed a two-year agreement to sell thousands of terminals to its distributor in New Zealand, Provenco Group Limited. Hypercom says the deal is worth $6.7 million. The terminals comply with EMV, the international smart card standard. Also, Israel-based Lipman says it has received $7 million in order for its payment terminals from customers in Turkey. The orders are for both conventional landline and wireless devices.
