Victory in Portsmouth

Portsmouth City Council has recently increased its number of Cale parking terminals to almost 300 and also upgraded some of the existing Cale terminals.
Portsmouth City Council has been using Cale products for 22 years and many of the first MP 5005 machines are still in operation and looking good today.

Portsmouth has now ordered a further 40 MP 104 terminals as well as 95 kits to upgrade their existing MP 102 machines with the additional functionality of the MP 104.

The Cale terminals are made of stainless steel as standard, which Terry Kean, Technical Manager at Portsmouth City Council, appreciates. “Many of our terminals are located close to the sea and are constantly exposed to weather attacks. My Cale terminals have proven their strength, not only by their strong reliability, but also by their resistance to corrosion and vandalism.”
The MP 104 terminals in Portsmouth are connected to C-Argus, a Windows based software developed by Cale Access for the administration of Cale terminals.

“MP 104 gives me the information I need to maximize the service to our customers and to the city of Portsmouth” Terry Kean concludes.
