Fastprk contributes towards Barcelona being awarded by the European Comission

The European Comission has recognized Barcelona as European Capital for Innovation 2014 with the iCapital award plus a 500,000€ reward.

The two projects that have contributed to it are related to new technologies, and both of them have been funded by ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).


The projects are:

Xaloc, a program  aiming to develop a system which could help drivers finding a parking space, counted on the technology of Fastprk, Worldsensing's smart parking system.

E-justicia.cat, which had the purpose of developing a new information system. This project was launched by the Departament de Justícia (Generalitat de Catalunya).
