The Fastprk installation of 300 sensors in the city of Gliwice, Poland, is now complete

Gliwice, Poland, Fastprk installation

In spring 2015, Worldsensing installed 30 Fastprk sensors in the city of Lódz. The positive results and the high performance of the system, is the reason why Gliwice issued a tender (the first of its kind) for 300 sensors.

In 2014, Worldsensing signed an agreement with Polish company City Parking Group, with the aim to implement Worldsensing’s smart parking technology, Fastprk, in Poland. Today, the dream of smart city is closer than ever.

Fastprk can be connected to a wide variety of parking management solutions, including mobile payment platforms. Based on the occupancy data provided by the Fastprk platform, innovative models such as variable pricing strategies (e.g. increasing/decreasing the price on some days of the week or during special events such as football matches) and the promotion of certain commercial areas can be implemented. When connected to the payment method system, the authority can identify non-paying cars and with the use of a tablet app, parking wardens can work more effectively.

Fastprk allows local authorities to monitor and manage parking spaces, getting real time information 24hours/7days a week.
