XM Satellite Radio Looking Into Electronic Parking Spot Locator

A new XM Satellite Radio concept called "Dynamic Parking Information" shows the number of spaces available at a parking lot through a vehicle's navigation system.
The company, working with Nu-Metrics and InfoGation, displayed the concept at the ITS America World Congress here this week. XM Satellite Radio said the concept is the next logical step after providing drivers with continuously updated information about traffic and weather.
