KLCCPM (Alamanda) operates a 3,000 base car park in the vicinity of the Putrajaya, In 2009, I have been given the opportunity to manage and operate the 5,000 bays basement car park in the prestigious Petronas Twin Towers and my responsibilities are as follows:- 1. Operations Ÿ Perform the daily inspection of the overall car park to ensure the cleanliness, lighting, maintenance, directional/safety signages and car park equipments in proper working order. Ÿ Responsible for the overall performance of the car park control and monitoring system in good operating condition at all times to conform the efficiency and integrity of the system. Ÿ Develop and make recommendations for implementation in all improvement of the car park control and monitoring system, signages, traffic management, operations staff performance and customer service. Ÿ To review and supervise the daily performance of all operations staff as per the respective policies and the standard operating procedures. Ÿ Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the car park is properly managed. Ÿ To monitor the maintenance of car park equipment, motor vehicles and other machines. Ÿ Source for negotiating to obtain the best arrangement for car park signages, safety cone, consumable supplies and services from contractors. Ÿ Coordinate all security, safety and services matters with all facilities managers as prescribed in the emergency procedures. 2.
