DKEE Co., Ltd. installed its new parking management system at Cargo Terminals parking lots 1(South) & 2(North), and Free Trade Regions parking lot of Incheon International Airport on May 31, 2006. It was replaced German products that were installed 5 years ago by DKEEs new parking management system (Magnetic Paper Ticket System BOPS 510).

At entry, there are Automatic Car Classifier, Ticket Dispenser, RF, LPR system, and automatic barriers.
When a car access to the entry, the Automatic Car Classifier can be divided up to 3 kinds cars with 99.7% recognition rate and send the data to the ticket dispenser. The Automatic Car Classifier is designed to classify up to 3 kinds cars by perceiving cars wheel width, distance of wheels, and number of axes.The License Plate Recognition system (LPR) recognizes the car number and sends the number to the ticket dispenser in order to print the car number on parking ticket when a car enter into the entry. Also, the parking tickets record depends on car sorts from the Automatic Car Classifier, so the parking fee is calculated by the grade.
With this system, workers can print Car number on parking ticket and be stored the captured image and recognized car number with ticket information for both entry and exit lane in the Management Computer and Image Server. The ticket dispensers for magnetic paper tickets were installed 2 levels, so large car drivers can take the parking ticket from top of it and middle & small car drivers can get the parking ticket from middle of it.
A driver, who has season ticket, attaches the RF-ID TAG on the front glass of the car. When a car access to the entry, the RF Reader read the Tags contents and send the data to the ticket dispenser open the barrier by checking it quickly within 0.9 second.
All parking operating information is restored in ICC (Intelligent Communication Controller).
The ICC operates independently when Zone Computer fails.Manual Cash Station
At exit, there are Cash station (Manual & Auto), RF, Ticket Reader and automatic barriers
When a driver inserts his parking ticket into the ticket reader, the parking fee will be calculated according to the car sort and displayed on screen. Also, its car number and going in & out images are displayed on screen at the same time so that workers can distinguish discrepancy easily. If the car number is different, alarm to workers in order to judge.Also, the credit card system was constructed in order to pay the parking fee with credit card for users. It reads the credit card and checks by cleaning house & communication. It gets the approval and settle with the credit.
The Zone Computer was installed each pparking lots
It manages and controls all equipments at entry & exit. Each Zone Computer synchronizes all data that are connected and treated with Master Computer. DB server & DB back up server restore & treat data from each Zone Computer. Image server restores all images, recognized car number, and parking ticket information
from LPR system. The credit card server make reference with cleaning house to settle with the credit and manages data that are treated.
The new parking management system is operating perfectly thanks to the newest and advanced technology. There is no error after it was installed by DKEE until now and its operating speed is very fast. Due to the DKEEs high quality products, Incheon International Airport Corporation workers are satisfied with the new parking management system.
