Following the recent crash tests on their HCR4M1200RB in line with the British Standard PAS 68 (at a speed of 80 kph), Heald are pleased to announce that the Department of State has issued a K12 Rating for their Road blocker. This is the only Roadblocker of its kind that has passed both PAS 68 and the Department of State K12 certification.
The unique design of the Roadblocker is the key to its success. Special crash bars and a sacrificial front radius are incorporated into the design so upon impact these absorb the force and leave the main body of the blocker unharmed, ready to continue maintaining site security. Even after removal of the radius plate the Road blocker is still fully operational and in the upright position remains a formidable barrier against potential unauthorised entry.
The front radius can be quickly and easily replaced without compromising site security in approximately one hour.
Installation under normal conditions can be completed in one day. The Roadblocker requires NO reinforcement of concrete or pre casting of the pit ensuring minimal disruption to the site and surrounding area.
Healds K12/PAS 68 Roadblocker has been repeatedly tested and will withstand the potential threat of a secondary terrorist attack.
