Truckee's multi-space meters
The multi-space ATM-style meters have been placed on the streets of downtown Truckee. When you park in a metered space, you should be able to easily locate these kiosks and then purchase a meter receipt. The receipt must then be placed face up on the curbside of the dashboard of your vehicle.When you use your Parcxmart card to pay for parking in Truckee, you receive 15% off your parking fee.
How to use the meters
To purchase time using your Truckee Parcxmart Card simply insert the card and press one of the payment buttons. Once you have selected the appropriate amount for the time you wish to park, press the green PRINT button to print your receipt.Display this receipt visibly on the dashboard inside your vehicle. If you wish you may remove the tear-off reminder on the right-hand side of the receipt. You must pay attention to the posted rates and maximum length of stay. The information is posted on signs along the block as well as on the meters themselves.
