Smart Cities Connect is where the smart cities community meets.
We provide meaningful content and connect a thoughtful community of decision-makers to empower smart cities at all stages of growth. We accelerate the adoption of smart technology solutions, aid in problem solving, and amplify city resources for the betterment of cities, communities, and their citizens.
As you know, our Smart Cities Connect Spring Conference & Expo team has been monitoring the spread of the COVID-19 virus in recent days. In addition to the information from public health officials and government leaders, we have heard from many of you that travel restrictions imposed by local governments, and now the federal government, have made it difficult or impossible for you to attend the conference at its current date and venue.
In light of these concerns, we have made the difficult decision to change the date and venue of the Smart Cities Connect Spring Conference & Expo and the US Ignite Application Summit set for April 6-9 in Denver to coincide with the Smart Cities Connect Fall Conference & Expo scheduled for November 17-19, 2020. These events will now be held simultaneously in National Harbor, Maryland. While we regret the inconvenience this change may cause for some of you, we are excited for the opportunities to connect that this first-of-its-kind joint gathering will bring.
Many of you have asked about a transfer of or credit for your Sponsor, Exhibitor, and attendee fees for the April event in Denver, and we’ve heard you. All April fees and registrations will be transferred to and honored at the rescheduled Smart Cities Connect Conference & Expo in November (note that the remainder of the terms your attendance, sponsorship, or exhibition continue to apply). If you have questions regarding the rescheduling of the April event, please contact email@example.com. Please continue to monitor the event website for our joint November conferences for updated information. We at Smart Cities Connect thank you for your understanding. Additional information will be sent to all participants shortly.
Sincerely, The Smart Cities Connect Team
