Clayton Engineering Company

Clayton Engineering was established in 1926 as a surveying firm. Today we employ professional engineers and surveyors, technicians, drafters and support personnel, enabling us to provide complete land surveying, planning and civil engineering services. Our principal area of operation is Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois although we do have professional licenses in 11 states. Our personnel have extensive experience. The current principals have been with the firm for more than 30 years, providing continuity of management. Our staff of 46 includes nine engineers, seven of which are licensed; most engineers enjoy multi-state registration. Our survey department has six Licensed Surveyors. Three of our Professional Engineers are dual-registered as Land Surveyors. We currently operate five survey crews which are equipped with the latest electronic surveying equipment (total stations and geographical positioning systems).
