Formed on January 1, 2011, ERTH Business Technologies Inc. consolidated a group of companies within ERTH Corporation that provided information technology services and conservation and demand management services. Key amongst those consolidated companies are:

• SPi Group Inc., a leading provider of services to North American electricity and gas markets since 2001.
• ECALIBER Inc., a leading provider of services to North American electricity markets.

By doing so, we positioned ourselves as market leaders to help businesses meet both the ongoing and the upcoming challenges facing the utility industry.

Our focus is on providing mission-critical systems and industry expertise to the North American and world energy industry and we already possess a rich pedigree and history of success:

• We played an integral role in the success of the Ontario retail electricity market over the past decade. Taking a leading role in forming and running an industry working group with members from nearly one hundred market participants (each with competing priorities and disparate systems) leading to the development of a common market standard.
• We developed an Electronic Business Transaction (EBT) clearinghouse system that has been successfully operating since the opening of the Ontario market in 2001 with availability approaching 100%.
• We have successfully deployed smart grid solutions ranging from the installation of smart meters and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) to business process re-engineering and integration of meter data management (MDM) and operational data stores (ODS).
• We are partnered with Northstar Utilities to deliver a Customer Information System (CIS) solution that manages the core processes of any utility, including billing, customer care, collections, reporting and analytics.

In addition, we are currently developing a water meter data repository and web presentation solution for one of the largest meter reading systems providers in North America.
