Help Desk Support Specialist (Adelaide, AU)

The Help Desk Support Specialist will report to the manager of Systems Administrations & Support (SAS) and will be responsible for support of the global TNS corporate IT workstation environment. The Systems Administrator II will be responsible for all aspects that impact the user environment to include active directory, group policy, software deployments, security patches and updates, network, printers, phone support, and the OS.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Addresses and resolves employee IT concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Provision, support and maintain workstations, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Be comfortable using IT management infrastructures such as Active Directory, SCCM and Windows applications in the enterprise
  • Install, configure and test software installations and packages
  • Assists sister IT engineering groups as needed on per call basis
  • Assists with office moves for all supported endpoint devices
  • Assist with corporate IT acquisition and divestiture activities
  • Support Executive management IT.
  • Support remote offices in the local geographic region.
  • Supports video, data and voice conferencing solutions for company meetings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience with Windows and Mac corporate workstation troubleshooting
  • 5+ years’ Windows administrative server skill set, including Enterprise application
  • 5+ years’ troubleshooting Windows and MacOS and in a real-time, mission-critical corporate environment
  • Experience in a real-time, mission-critical environment
  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate concrete examples of troubleshooting, support and follow through to customer satisfaction.
