Postion Overview

Fulfill an important role in the organization to support the Amano McGann Boston Branch Office with responsibilities including: answering incoming phone calls, discussing service and related items with clients, entering service calls into ServiceMax dispatching software and tracking of Field Service Technicians, ordering, shipping/receiving, inventory control, invoicing and collections, customer service, inside sales, and other various administrative tasks.

Job requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be accustomed to answering incoming phone calls with a pleasant demeanor and either directly addressing the need, or forwarding calls according to client need/s.
  • Demonstrated advanced skill using Microsoft Office
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is helpful, will train.
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Customer service orientation, with a strong problem solving
  • Ability to learn new software and product lines quickly.
  • Proficient with inventory control and procedures
  • Pack and process UPS / Fed-Ex shipments utilizing online web portals
  • Ability to establish solid relationships with clients and vendors
  • Creates a positive work environment for all parties
  • Must be a team player and willing to take on new challenges
  • Familiarity with Field Service Technician dispatch and tracking
  • Supports Project Management SOP including invoicing, Set up and duties as assigned
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education / Experience 

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a high paced business environment
  • Previous experience in a field service company preferred

Organiyational Alignment 

  • Reports to the Branch Leadership as assigned
  • Works closely and collaboratively with Service Manager, Project Manager, and Technical Services Team.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the sales and account teams supported
