Position Overview

Fulfill an important role in the organization to establish relationships, maintain and increase revenues and profitability within the assigned geographic territory. Accomplish local, regional and national objectives by developing leads, building the pipeline, and maintaining the existing client base; supporting General Manager with dotted line reporting; planning and evaluating activities to meet these overall company objectives.

The Sales Executive reports to the General Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for top-line project revenues for the branch
  • Shared responsibility for project net profit goals for the branch
  • Focus on expanding the current market and developing new accounts. Key market segments include but are not limited to hospitals, universities, operators, municipalities, and commercial office and retail properties
  • Consultative sales approach to market, design and present solutions focused on our core and key partner line of parking products
  • Effective communication that creates a collaborative environment with all parties that the Sales Executive interacts with, including; Clients, Subcontractors, Branch, Corporate and Senior Management personnel
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Assist operations team in account management to improve the client experience or resolve challenges
  • Implements and follows all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
  • Maintain leads, opportunities, contacts, and pipeline in Salesforce to company standards
  • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent market information, defining contacts, leads and opportunities; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes in line with overall corporate direction
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or training; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state‐of‐the‐art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Creates a positive work environment for all parties
  • Creates effective solutions to meet or exceed clients’ expectations through collaborative planning with all departments within the AMI organization
  • Understands and participates in overall company corporate goals
  • Assist the operations team to meet profit goals within the branch territory
  • Supports operations department and operations initiatives on a day to day basis
  • Additional duties as assigned

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

  • Improves sales and profitability as measured on performance metrics
  • Maintains CRM to company standards
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to the General Manager
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the Regional Vice President
  • Works closely and collaboratively with local operations staff
  • This position will be assigned to support a specific geographical area

Skills and Qualifications

  • Presentation Skills, Multi‐Tasking, Client Relationships, Negotiation, Prospecting skills, Sales Planning, Independence, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Time Management, Communication
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least eight years of industry experience. Previous B2B sales experience required.
  • Parking Operations and/or Access Control or Technical Sales experience preferred.
  • Intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management
