The focus of the Role
To support the Area Manager in the day to day functions of the operation, and be able to deputise for the Area Operations Manager in their absence.
What you'll do
To assist the Area Operations Manager in achieving budgetary targets
To provide weekly/monthly reports of any financial issues/resolutions, progress and to escalate issues as appropriate
Establish and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships
Provide effective and proactive management to support the Area Operations Manager and the management team
Ensure individual teams deliver an excellent and consistent customer experience and achieve the client led mystery shop target for service excellence.
To report any incidents, accidents & criminal activity in accordance with company and client procedures. Live and breathe close call and HOT behaviours.
To assist the Area Operations Manager in ensuring that all Car Parks are manned as per the Contract.
Hold monthly team talks with all staff and manage effective two way communication between APCOA and its staff
To deputise for the Area Operations Manager in their absence.
To identify and explore new revenue streams and opportunities for new business within the contract
Working with the Area Operations Manager, investigate, manage and sign off the closure of all on site incidents, accidents and occurrences
To provide effective leadership, direction and motivation to a team of Parking Patrol Officers, cash collectors and other Supervisors ensuring best practice is adhered to.
To work as part of a the wider Network Rail Team
What you'll bring:
Proven leadership and Supervisory experience in a customer facing environment
2 years minimum experience in a supervisory/managerial role essential
Experience with cost controls and budgets
Experience of developing, monitoring and implementing SLA’s
Experience of dealing with cash audit trails and revenue protection is essential
Inter-personal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Self-motivated, pro-active nature
Flexible in approach and able to absorb new ideas
Ability to manage and motivate staff to deliver an excellent level of service qualifications
