We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to lead a team of Civil Enforcement Officers (Traffic Wardens) and other parking professionals working on our Wolverhampton City Council contract.
APCOA provides parking services to the council ensuring that the city highways, car parks and local areas are patrolled whist also issuing parking fines and providing advice to the general public. We play a significant role with the council to increase parking compliance across Wolverhampton and further assist with manning for local city events and traffic management support during football matchdays.
What you’ll do
The successful candidate will lead and motivate the team and develop them to manage resources to deliver an effective and efficient business operation which will achieve the budgeted financial results and deliver a performance that consistently exceeds the service levels and KPI standards agreed with the client. Customer service is key to the success of this account and the Contract Manager must ensure that all team members are focused on delivering consistently excellent levels of service to all stakeholders, in particular members of the public.
This is a diverse role and you will need to demonstrate experience in the following key areas:

Proven multi-disciplinary experience in operational, contract, commercial and project management 2 years minimum contract management experience in a client facing role
Experienced in setting and managing budgets and KPIs performance
Strong leadership and people management skills; able to challenge, coach, motivate and train staff to produce positive results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at individual, team and group level and equally comfortable and effective in communicating with front line staff, managers, directors and members of the public
Excellent relationship management skills and able to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal support services
A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a focus upon continuous improvement and can effectively operate with the minimum of supervision and direction
Ability to prioritise and manage high level tasks and directives which may conflict with each other
Able to produce informative and concise reports and make effective oral and written presentations
