We are looking for highly focused individuals to join our brand-new notice processing team in Lincoln based at our offices on the Allenby Road Industrial Estate Lincoln. The successful candidates should demonstrate that they have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are able to learn a subject from a position of zero knowledge and have a detailed knowledge of computer skills.
In addition, strong motivational skills to ensure that deadlines are met, working with minimum supervision and being an active team member are important.
The role involves progressing penalty charge notices issued to vehicles in Lincolnshire through the system from appeals to closure. As a notice processing officer you will be responsible for managing high volumes of correspondence and interpreting legislation , ensuring that written enquires and representation from motorists are managed in a timely, impartial and high quality way. This role will require a great deal of attention to detail
You will have great organisational and time management skills to effectively maintain high standards of service and deal with queries within the tight statutory deadlines. You will have a good command of the English language, grammar and overall structure of a letter writing.
As this is a front-line service you should have excellent customer and communication skills and be able to deal with members of the public in sometimes difficult and challenging situations in a calm but assertive and confident manner. You will liaise with key parties and organisations on a daily basis so being able to build a good rapport and work as part of a team is important.
Experience in the parking industry and knowledge of the traffic management act 2004 is desirable but not essential. Full accredited training will be provided to all successful candidates.
