Automated Parking Embedded Software Engineer (Frankfurt, DE)

Do you want to make the vision of automated driving a reality? At Continental, we're putting the self-driving car on the road - either with a driver onboard or without. We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/diverse) to support our environmental sensing team in Frankfurt am Main. You will develop new automated parking functions and test them directly in vehicles. You will enable the car to safely maneuver in an environment, avoid obstacles and park.

Your Tasks Will Include

  • Implementation of a sensor driver for an AutoSAR based ECU software
  • Development of tools for the development and analysis of sensor communication
  • Support for the entire software development process
  • Support for software integration

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, electrical engineering or comparable areas
  • Very experienced in developing and maintaining low-level embedded software (C/C++) for automotive applications
  • Experienced with Embedded Linux and Bus systems, e.g. CAN, SPI, I2C
  • Experience with AutoSAR
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and practice
  • Experience with agile development methods
  • Experience with embedded Nvidia platforms desirable
  • Fluent English and good German skills spoken and written
  • Analytic & interdisciplinary thinking, interest in complex tasks

The goal here is to implement “Vision Zero,” the vision of accident-free driving.
