Development Engineer Parking Functions


Join our Team for Parking & Trailer Functions as Development Engineer for Scene Interpretation. Based on our environment model, you will develop and implement algorithms and define where and how to park. With us you do not develop software as an end in itself - this is where your code becomes a driving function that you and our customers can "experience" - in millions of cars, anywhere in the world!

Your tasks:

  • Algorithm development for automated parking functions
  • Development of software components for perception, scene interpretation and environment model
  • Design, implementation and testing of software components for series projects
  • Systematic evaluation of algorithms (in simulation)
  • Definition and evaluation of SW component requirements


  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automotive engineering or similar
  • Promotion desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of perception, scene interpretation and environmental model
  • Distinctive system understanding for complex impact chains consisting of sensors, functions, actuators and man-machine interface
  • Very good programming skills in C ++
  • Basic knowledge of ECU development & SW testing
  • Knowledge about sensors (radar, camera, ultrasound, etc.)
  • Negotiable German and at least good command of spoken and written English
  • Analytical & interdisciplinary thinking
  • Independent and structured / well-organized way of working
  • Good teamwork (especially in an international working environment)
