The task

The area sales manager's job will be to work with a portfolio of existing customers in your region on the one hand and with the global EasyPark team on the other. You also place a special focus on acquiring new customers in order to further expand your region.

We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales who knows how to win new customers and expand existing ones. As an international company, we expect good English skills.

The EasyPark app is currently present in over 25 countries and our services are used by millions of drivers and continue to achieve enormous growth year after year. Our services not only offer motorists considerable advantages, cities and parking space operators also benefit greatly from the fact that motorists waste less time looking for a parking space and both public and private spaces can be used more effectively. As the urban population will double over the next 20 years, transportation systems will need to become twice as effective, which is why our services make a significant contribution to making cities smarter and more sustainable.

As an Area Sales Manager, you mainly work with cities, but also for private parking space operators in the Bavaria region. We are looking for a professional who works hard to win new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.

Your contribution and your impact

Much of your communication with partners will take place directly with representatives of public municipalities or city-owned companies. The role is broad and combines sales and business skills with the competence to build new partnerships as well as to develop and maintain existing ones. The role encompasses everything from the analysis of the initial situation, through the identification of relevant leads, to the first contact with potential customers, pre-sales, negotiating agreements and includes training the partner's employees through to implementation. You lead and accompany the partners up to the complete digitization of the park activities of the local authorities and companies.

  • Ability to cope with a wide variety of tasks without prestige
  • Collaborative, of course, with excellent problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a solid understanding of stakeholder management

  • Energetic and proactive with a will to eagerly follow up
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to quickly understand how to respond to the needs of partners and / or customers and how to adapt the EasyPark concept accordingly
  • Ability to structure and present strong business cases for potential and current partners
  • Analytical to understand the progress of the partner's parking business

Your background

We believe that every path in life is individual, but a successful candidate could bring:

  • Solid business understanding from key account management or similar roles (at least 3 years)
  • Experience in selling complex service offerings, e.g. SaaS and managing the entire sales process from lead generation to business execution and implementation
  • Study of economics, business administration or another comparable, but more practice-oriented training
  • Knowledge and experience in daily use of CRM systems in the sales process
  • Experience in working with contracting authorities such as municipalities would be an advantage but is not absolutely necessary
  • Mother tongue German and fluent knowledge of English are prerequisites for this role
